Notre Dame Club of St. Louis Annual Golf Tournament,
Thanks to all those who supported this year's golf tournament. We had a beautiful day at Norwood Hills Country Club. Please join me in congratulating all of our winners: Closest to the pin (#10): Steve Gaffney
KFNS has bought the local rights to broadcast the Irish football games on the radio and want to incorporate us into the fun. As such, game watches will now take place at the Hot Shots downtown. Well drinks and longnecks are $2, and pitchers are $6. Every week large pizzas will be sold at half off the restaurant price, and every third week they'll have a free, open buffet for us.
Thanks to our hosts Lisa and Jim Kelly for opening their home Saturday, August 23, for an evening of wine, chesse, and fellowship. There were old friends and new faces gathered together for a great evening. Be sure to check out the Photo Gallery for photos of this event and future opportunities to get to know your fellow alumni!
Alumni Board Election Results In!
Congratulations to the St. Louis Club's very own Beth Ann McLane, class of 1984, who won the seat on the Alumni Board for Region 5! She will serve as the representative for Region 5 (IA, KA, MO, NE) from July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2011. Congrats Beth Ann!
For many, the University of Notre Dame is a sacred place where people of all ages draw strength to love, to suffer in hope, to find faith in challenge, to discover their path, and ultimately, to remember their purpose. Pray at ND is our effort to bring the spiritual resources of our Lady's University to you. I hope that this Web site is a tool that inspires your prayer life and helps you to be present for good in your community, your home, your work place, and the world. -Rev. John Jenkins, C.S.C.
